Because well, poop is funny! Also funny – this cute and easy reindeer poop elf idea for your Christmas elf! Grab our printable signs, choose your message, and wait for the laughs!
Oh yes, that’s a reindeer.
Because it’s not enough to have an elf on the shelf. The elves now have pets to clean up after. (There is also a St. Bernard dog you can add to your family if you so desire.)
But there is definitely a bright spot to welcoming the elf’s furry friends: lots and lots of inspiration for funny elf scenes.
Our elf grabbed a box of candy and got to work. We used Nestle Buncha Crunch, though any small chocolate-coated candy would work just fine.
Supplies needed to make a reindeer poop elf scene:
- Elf
- Reindeer
- Fence and wheelbarrow (we got these from Playmobil sets we already owned)
- Chocolate Candy like Nestle Buncha Crunch or Raisinets
- Toothpick
- Scissors
- Tape
- Printable Sign (Note: these are for personal use only)

How to set up the scene:
1. Set up the reindeer behind his fence.
2. Sprinkle the chocolate candy all around, including in a toy wheelbarrow if you have one.
3. Choose the printable sign you want to use (our sheet includes several variations). Cut out the sign and tape the toothpick to the back.
4. Stick the sign in the wheelbarrow (or anywhere around the scene if you don’t have one).
This is one set of elf antics that is SURE to be remembered and get lots of laughs from the whole family!
