“He sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake.” Santa might be magical, but he also probably has some help. Check out this easy North Pole Elf Spy Cam idea and use our printable labels for the perfect finishing touch.
Because well? Sometimes the big guy in red needs an extra eyeball or two on the kids. Or sometimes parents just need an extra trick in their pockets to encourage good behavior. Those last few weeks leading up to Christmas can be BRUTAL. Excitement is high, activities and obligations are plentiful, etc.
So imagine your kiddo’s surprise when the elf (or Santa or you) brings a pretty legit looking SPY CAM to the house. And where do you think the video from this camera goes? Why, it feeds directly into the North Pole, of course! This awesome elf idea can be set up in just minutes.
Our elf set up this scene using a cheap dummy surveillance camera. The one that he picked up was just a few dollars and it has a motion activated red light inside! You can sit your camera on a shelf or you can go the extra mile and hang it on the ceiling. Up to you!

Our camera took 2 double A batteries and then it was ready to go. I used the smallest label on our free printable and taped it to the black rim of the camera. Then we were in business!
