Printable Elf Incident Report – Elf Stays in One Spot!
Sure, your elf probably has the best of intentions. That said, sometimes, an elf needs a break. Here’s just the trick to keep him grounded for a few days – our printable elf incident report!
As the month of December rolls right on to the end, everything starts to hit a fever pitch, doesn’t it? There are gifts to wrap, parties to go to, school programs and concerts to attend, groceries to buy and cards to get in the mail. Of course, among all of this holiday rush, the daily chore of your elf needing a new spot to hang out weighs heavy on all. I figure if I’m this tired by mid-December, our elf HAS to be tired, right? I mean, he’s the one doing all of the flights back to the North Pole every night. Many days I feel like I’m hanging by a thread and my only travel time is to and from preschool.
So that got me thinking. I have seen other elves chilling out on shelves the entire month of December. Some elves come down with the flu while others have been found with a broken limb or two. But how to explain elf illness or injury to our offspring? I figured a new printable was in order and this is what I came up with for our elf Oboe to use. Have your elf round up some gauze at the dollar store (or bandaids or any other kind of medical bandaging). Then give your elf this printable Elf Incident Report to fill out (or feel free to fill it out for him).

Perhaps your elf only needs one night off and then he’ll be back to his regular shenanigans. Maybe your elf needs to take an extended break. I guess that’s up to you! No matter what you decide, this is all very official North Pole business, so I’m sure your kiddos will understand. It’s really out of your hands, after all.
