Elf Magic Egg Trick + Printable Card
Not only is this a pretty impressive elf trick, it’s also a two-nighter, meaning one less idea your elf has to come up with during his or her annual visit!
Your elf is going to LOVE this one! Ready? Okay, here’s how simple it is. Have your elf set out a real egg or two. Then you’ll need some sort of magic dust. Glitter, sprinkles, etc work especially well for this. Tell your elf to leave out the eggs, the magic dust and this printable elf trick note for the kids one morning. They will be totally excited and completely intrigued. They will also have to wait until the next day to see what actually happens with those eggs!
Your elf can choose any other kind of eggs he’d like for the magic trick reveal. Oboe decided to pick up some Hatchimals since the kids love them so much. Your elf could also use Hatchimals or he could use candy eggs or even plastic Easter eggs (maybe stuffed with candy or a small prize?). It’s up to your elf! Tell him to swap out those real eggs for some funny eggs of his choosing. The next morning the kids will not believe their eyes when they see that the real eggs have been magically transformed!
Our Hatchimals were met with much shrieking and excited yelling. The kids had so much fun “hatching” them. A couple of Landon’s Hatchimals even went to school with him in the “show and share” bag that he was tasked with for the day. Make sure you print this magic trick note and have fun watching the kids’ amazement at this little “magic.”
