Every year when Christmas rolls around, a lot of us find ourselves looking for festive dessert ideas to make. Christmas cookies seem to top most peoples’ lists for fave holiday desserts. I know that some years I will spend DAYS baking Christmas cookies and other years I’m looking for quick and easy cookie hacks to put treat trays together.
These Christmas Tree sprinkle cookies can be fit either effort level. We totally skipped the time-consuming chore of dipping cookies in melted chocolate by using fudge covered OREO cookies as a shortcut! If you can’t find this type of cookie, you can grab regular OREO cookies and cover them with melted white chocolate. (We love using our Wilton chocolate melter for this!)
Christmas Tree Sprinkles Cookies
Ingredients
- Fudge Covered OREO Cookies
- Round Sprinkles
- Star Sprinkles
- Green Cookie Frosting
Instructions
- Arrange cookies on your workspace (a cookie tray works great!).
- Draw a Christmas Tree on the top of each cookie with the green frosting.
- Sprinkle round sprinkles on each cookie, over the green frosting.
- Add a star sprinkle to the top of each tree.
- Serve and enjoy!
As you can see, this one is pretty darn easy.
You could definitely set the ingredients up as a party make and take. This treat is easy enough that kids can make them with little adult assistance.
