Play-Doh sure has come a long way from the very first set I ever played with (which I vaguely recall was a Spaghetti Factory!). But even though the themed play-sets are more detailed and more intricate than they were twenty years ago, there is one thing that has NEVER changed: THE SMELL. Just like a fresh bag of coffee or new jar of peanut butter, I simply cannot open a new can of Play-Doh without taking a deep inhale. The smell instantly transports me back to my childhood!
We had the chance to check out the brand new Play-Doh Featuring Despicable Me Minions Disguise Lab!
Lily was all smiles when I handed this set to her.
Here is a look at everything that came with this Play-Doh set. You can see it comes with a chair + base, scissors, comb, yellow minion, purple minion and 4 small cans of Play-Doh.
Lily had a blast creating funny hairdos on the minions. She would grow the hair on each minion and then style it by combing or trimming the Play-Doh. It was fairly difficult for her to push the minion down on the chair apparatus, but we remedied that by having her stand on the chair and put her weight into it.
If you look in the picture above, you can see several molds in the silver base. Use them to fashion funny accessories like a mustache or hat for your minions!
We have already had this set out a few times since receiving it. Lily really seems to enjoy playing with it and it occupies her for awhile!
