I had the pleasure of reviewing the Wild Animal Safari Baby Einstein Discovery Kit. It was the first time that I had Peyton sit and watch TV or a DVD geared for her. She watched the entire DVD. The last couple of minutes she got a little distracted, but the rest of the DVD she didn’t move at all! She loved seeing real video of the animals. They also showed some babies dressed up as animals which she made noises at when she saw them.
After we watched the DVD I showed her the discovery cards and she proceeded to pick up the giraffe and play with it for the next thirty minutes! This Discovery Kit will keep her interested for the next several years. The cards have animal facts on the back and a large photograph on the front. They are sturdy and laminated which will hold up over many uses. The kit also came with a CD of classical music that I can play for her at her nap time. This was a great activity for Peyton!
