Pumpkin Spice Latte Ingredients

  • 4 C milk (whole, almond or soy)
  • 1 C canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 C brown sugar packed
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar heaping
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 C fresh brewed dark roast coffee (or fresh brewed espresso)
  • whipped cream for topping

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture (for topping)

  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon


  • In a medium sized saucepan, add the milk, pumpkin, brown sugar, sugar, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir all the ingredients together and then bring to a boil.

  • When the mixture starts to boil, turn the heat down. Simmer for 2 minutes while stirring constantly.
  • Add the coffee (or espresso) and continue to simmer, stirring the mixture until it is smooth and well-blended.

  • Turn off the heat and divide the drink evenly among 4-6 mugs.
  • Top with whipped cream and sprinkle some of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the whipping cream.
