From that morning sip to that midday pick-me-up, if you’re going to DO Disney, you need to know where to find the best coffee in Disney World!
Typically when we visit Disney, I find my morning cup of joe at our hotel/resort or, if we are camping at Fort Wilderness, I brew my own. That’s all fine and good until about 2 pm when I hit the midday slump. That’s when all of the morning activity catches up with me and I need a nice dose of caffeine to put the zippity back in my doo-dah. And, as I have found over the years, if you truly enjoy a cup of GOOD coffee (or an espresso beverage), sometimes it’s necessary to look around for quality.
So whether you are planning to head to the parks at rope drop or you’re like me and trying to beat the afternoon crash, there are a ton of great places to grab a cup of java in the parks.
Here is where to find the best coffee in Disney World.
Main Street Bakery: Magic Kingdom
If you are looking for your standard Starbucks beverage, then you will want to head to Main Street Bakery. Here they have an almost-full Starbucks menu that you can order from to help you get your Starbucks fix at Disney.
You’re not in Magic Kingdom? There are 6 Starbucks locations in Disney – 1 in each theme park and 2 in Disney Springs.
Cheshire Cafe: Magic Kingdom
If you are looking for something a step above the Starbucks coffee at Main Street Bakery, consider heading to Fantasyland! This location is near the Teacup ride, and you can find cold or hot coffee at this quick-service location.
P.S. I’m also a big fan of the cupcakes there!
Isle of Java: Animal Kingdom
If you are in the Animal Kingdom, standout coffee options are fairly limited. However, you can find a coffee stand near the DinoLand bridge that is well worth the visit! In addition to the wonderful pastries, you’ll find a great tasting french vanilla or mocha iced coffee.
Joffrey’s Tea Traders Cafe: Disney Springs
If you are looking for good coffee while at Disney Springs, this is the place you want to go! The baristas will print a picture of Mickey, Minnie Mouse, or even Donald into the foam of your beverage! While the coffee isn’t anything special, the added Disney touch makes this location a step above the rest.
Note – there are several Joffrey’s located in Disney! The one pictured below is at Epcot over in the England area.
Kona Cafe: Polynesian Resort
Many people don’t head to this location unless you’re staying at the resort, but this is a great place to visit if you are a coffee fan! They have a bunch of mild Kona coffee beverages to choose from that will satisfy your coffee needs.
Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery: Animal Kingdom
If you are looking for a quick service location for coffee, this is a great option! You’ll find your standard drip coffee, espressos, iced lattes, and mochas, as well as cappuccinos here.
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie: Epcot
You’ll find this restaurant located in the France pavilion of the World Showcase in Epcot, and while the rest of the World Showcase is still closed at breakfast time, Le Halles opens early for breakfast! Here you’ll find a wide variety of cappuccinos, lattes, drip coffees, and so much more! If you enjoy specialty coffees, make sure you head to this location!
Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano: Hollywood Studios
If you find yourself in Hollywood Studios in need of a cup of coffee, you want to head over to Mama Melrose’s! They have both hot and frozen lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, and french press available!
No matter where you find yourself at Disney, this guide will help you find a great cup of coffee so you can get your caffeine fix!
p.s. If you’re looking for the frothy beverage bottom center on my Pinterest image below – you’ll have to hop on board the Disney Magic for that one. It’s a latte from the Cove Cafe! I couldn’t resist including it in my collage of “Disney coffee.”
