If you’re looking for an easy Valentine’s Day treat that feels festive without requiring fancy baking skills, these Valentine’s Pop-Tart Pops are it. They’re cute, handheld, and come together with just a few store-bought ingredients. Perfect for classroom parties, Valentine’s Day dessert trays, or a fun after-school kitchen project with the kids.
Think classic Pop-Tart vibes… but heart-shaped, on a stick, and totally sprinkle-worthy.
Ingredients
- Pre-made pie crusts
- Strawberry jelly
- Strawberry frosting
- Sprinkles
- Lollipop sticks
- Heart cookie cutters (a variety size pack works great – Walmart and Amazon usually have them)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface.
- Use heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut out hearts. Try mixing sizes for a fun look.
- Place a small spoonful of strawberry jelly in the center of half of the hearts. Don’t overfill – a little goes a long way.
- Top each jelly-filled heart with another heart to create a sandwich.
- Gently press a lollipop stick into the bottom of each pop.
- Use a fork to crimp and seal the edges all the way around.
- Place the pops on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- Frost the tops with strawberry frosting and finish with plenty of sprinkles.
