Turkey Cinnamon Rolls: A Cute and Easy Thanksgiving Breakfast Idea

Looking for a festive breakfast or snack idea that takes almost no time at all? These Turkey Cinnamon Rolls are the cutest little food craft to hit our kitchen this season! They’re silly, sweet, kid-approved, and perfect for Thanksgiving morning, classroom parties, or any day you want to sprinkle in a little fall fun.
What I love most about this idea is that it starts with store-bought cinnamon rolls, so there’s very little prep and basically zero fuss. The kids can help decorate, and you end up with an adorable turkey-themed treat that doubles as a breakfast and a craft. Win-win!

Ingredients
- Cinnamon rolls (any brand)
- Froot Loops or similar colorful cereal
- Kabob sticks (wooden skewers)
- Candy eyes
- Candy corn

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Bake the cinnamon rolls.
Bake for about 10 minutes, or until golden and cooked through. (Use the directions on the package for best results.)
- Frost.
Remove from the oven and frost while warm.

- Add the face.
Press two candy eyes onto the frosting. Place a candy corn right below the eyes to create the beak.

- Make the tail feathers.
Break a kabob stick in half – these will act as the “quills” for the cereal to sit on.
- Assemble the feathers.
Stick the halved kabob sticks into the top of the cinnamon roll. Then thread Froot Loops onto each stick, creating colorful turkey tail feathers.
- Serve and enjoy!
That’s it! A fun, silly, totally adorable Thanksgiving treat ready in minutes.

Tips & Ideas
- Let kids build their own turkeys as a breakfast activity.
- Use different cereals for different feather “textures.”
- Swap the candy corn for an M&M or Reese’s Piece if you prefer.
These Turkey Cinnamon Rolls come together so quickly and always get a big laugh from kids and grown-ups alike. They’re exactly the kind of easy, festive fun we love around here!
Let me know if you decide to give them a try! I’d love to hear how they turn out for you!
