Want the perfect printable gift tag for a sweet gift of candy this holiday season? I made up a new “sweet holiday wishes” printable that would be the perfect finishing touch for a box of chocolates, jar of sweet treats, etc.
Sweets like chocolate and candy (or chocolate candy! Ha!) make a great gift
I’m a big fan of giving edible holiday gifts. They always seem appreciated and, unlike other gift items that have a tendency to add to the “clutter” around the house, gifts of candy, cookies or chocolate can be enjoyed right away.
I love picking up bags of holiday wrapped chocolates when they go on sale, for example in this post you will see the Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark that I grabbed on an Amazon Gold Box Deal earlier this month! These chocolates are so festive and eye-appealing, just ready for gifting. I add these on to various peoples’ gifts, or sometimes when I just need a cute and small gift, they are the entire present.
Make sure you check out my other Christmas content and teacher gift ideas for each more great options and printables!
You could fill these with whatever candy you’d like! My favorite suggestions include:
- Hershey’s Kisses
- Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- M&Ms
- Mini Candy Canes
- Cookies
- Hot Cocoa Mix
- Peppermints
These gifts are super easy to assemble. You can use any container you want. I used pint sized mason jars.
Supplies Needed for these SWEET Holiday Wishes Gifts

- Mason Jars (or other containers)

How to assemble these gifts
1. Print our gift tags and cut them out. I recommend printing these out on white cardstock to make them a little sturdier than regular printer paper.
2. Punch a single hole on the lefthand side of each tag.
3. Sign the back of your tag if you’d like.
4. Fill each jar or container with candy and put the lid on the container.
5. Tie a gift tag to each container with twine or ribbon.
That’s it! What a beautiful (and so super easy!) gift!
