Check out this awesome Star Wars LEGO Shadow Box craft idea. It makes a cool piece of home decor and most definitely doubles as a fun conversation piece!
Star Wars LEGO Minifigure Shadow Box DIY
When my friend Sara asked me to cut “May the Force Be with You” out of black vinyl on my Silhouette a few weeks ago, you know I had to ask what kind of project she was going to make. I downloaded the free font called Star Jedi font and cut the phrase for her.
If you don’t have a Silhouette you could certainly just print the sentence on cardstock and use that instead.
Sara had these LEGO figures from various sets that her family already owned. She used Turbo Tacky Glue to affix the figures to the paper. Then she affixed the paper to a matte and placed it into a black shadow box.
VERY cool and a VERY VERY awesome gift idea for your fave Star Wars fan!
What other shadow box themes could you make with LEGO minifigures?
LEGO makes such a huge array of different minifigures. You could make so many different themed shadow box pictures depending on which LEGO minifigures you chose to feature.
Some great ideas for other shadow box crafts:
- Disney Princesses
- Classic Disney characters
- Minecraft
- Lord of the Rings
- Harry Potter
- Sports
- Space
- Holidays
- Simpsons
- Law Enforcement
- First Responders
- Medieval
- Superheroes
- Jurassic Park/World
- Pirates
Those are just a few ideas off the top of my head. I’m sure there are close to infinite themes you could choose! If you decide to make one of these LEGO minifigure shadow box crafts, definitely drop me a comment and let me know what your theme was!
You can include more than 4 LEGO minifigures as well – simply buy a bigger shadow box to accommodate your figures!
