Out of This World Space Themed Moon Pie Teacher Gift
Know a teacher who is simply “out of this world?” Here is a fun space themed teacher gift idea using a popular treat, MOON PIES! Use our free printable gift tags for the perfect finishing touch!
I have a new teacher gift idea to share with you today! Yes, yes, this is a gift idea directly inspired by Landon, aka NASA Boy, after our amazing day at Kennedy Space Center. It is still 24/7 space talk around this house, which is what got me thinking that my teacher gift idea collection does not have a space themed teacher gift! Until today, that is! I was cruising the dollar store aisles last week, one of my favorite pastimes while the kids are in school, LOL, and this box of Moon Pies pretty much leapt off the shelf and into my basket.
These tags will work great with any space themed teacher gift idea you come up with, but Moon Pies are definitely a quick and easy option. Looking to increase the value of your gift? Tape a gift card to the teacher’s favorite store or restaurant to the box! I really love dollar store teacher gift ideas for those times when you are trying to gift an entire school staff with something cheap and cheerful. Perfect for those times that you just want a little something to say, “Thanks! You rock!”

How to Make Space Themed Moon Pie Teacher Gifts
These gifts are so easy to assemble! They only thing you have to decide is if you are giving one BOX of Moon Pies per teacher or one single PIE per teacher (again, this might depend on your budget, etc.). I used the entire box as my gift so that it was easy to see the connection between “Moon Pies” and a space -themed gift tag.
1. Print our Space themed printable gift tags. I recommend printing these tags on white card stock to make them a bit sturdier than regular printer paper. Note: these printables are for personal use only.
2. Punch a single hole in the top of each tag.
3. Have your kiddo sign the back of the tag and write the gift recipient’s name on it.
4. Use a piece of twine or ribbon to tie the gift tag on to the box of Moon Pies.
