I SOAP You Have a Merry Christmas Soap Teacher Gift Idea + FREE Printable Tags
One thing that I love about late fall and early spring? I know that I will be churning out all sorts of fun and easy teacher gift ideas. Teachers ROCK and I truly believe that they do one of the most important (and emotionally draining) jobs on the face of the earth. (I say this as a parental observer AND as a former teacher!) We love showing the kids’ teachers and coaches some love – especially during the holidays and on Teacher Appreciation Day.
I have another really really easy soap teacher gift idea for you. All you need to do is add some soap. Want to increase the value of this gift? Tuck a gift card in the bag! At the end of the day, let’s all remember that no teacher is in this profession for the gifts. That being said, it sure is nice to feel appreciated – whether it’s a gift received, a hand drawn picture by their student or a note of thanks from a parent. All are appreciated, none are expected.
I love the Perfectly Posh Chunk soaps for gifting. They smell AMAZING and come in all sorts of fun scents. Last summer I happened to catch a clearance deal on the pear scented Chunks and picked up several of them. I knew that they would come in handy for easy teacher gifts!
Today I made up some round chalkboard labels. I love the way they turned out! You can print these out, 6 to a page. Print as many as you need!
Here’s what you need to put these easy teacher gifts together:
Printable Chalkboard Tags
Bar of Soap (I used Perfectly Posh Chunks. Amazon has many options as well!)
Clear treat bags
Printer (I used my HP Envy)
Single Hole Punch
To make these gifts, simply put some shred in the bottom of each treat bag. Add a bar of soap and tie the bag closed with twine. Punch a hole in the top of the tag and affix it to the bag with the same piece of twine that you used to close the bag.
I had my daughter write each teacher’s name and sign her name on the back of each tag.
What are your favorite teacher gift ideas? Do you give the same gift every year or give something different each year?
