Our elf Oboe is always up to something silly around here. Sometimes he is growing candy cane gardens, while other days he leaves regular eggs that later turn into hatchimals! We never know what we will find each morning while he is visiting. Have you checked out our huge collection of elf on the shelf ideas yet? There are enough ideas to last you many years’ worth of elf mischief!
Imagine how many laughs this one will get! The elf has trapped himself inside of a snow globe! This would be the perfect idea to save for a day when the kids are allowed to tote their elf around the house. (Since the elf is inside the globe, they can carry the globe around and not touch the elf.)
This snow globe is plastic, making it extra kid-safe. I found this plastic snow globe at the dollar store.

How Your Elf Should Set Up the Elf Snow Globe Scene
1. Make sure you have a snow globe with a fairly wide opening. The globe that I used had a decent opening and it was still a chore to fit the elf’s head inside! Fold up the elf and squeeze him into the globe.
2. Take the paper saying that you chose to use and tuck it inside the globe. I placed mine near the elf’s face.
3. Fill up the globe with fake snow! Don’t be shy – fill it up!
4. Place the bottom on the globe and take a look at the finished project! So fun!
