Shirt Ideas for Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground
Check out these fun ideas for shirts for your next visit to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground! I made these shirts for our trip and we got a lot of compliments on them from fellow campers!
Not only do I have great fun micro-managing many of our Disney trip details, I also love planning and making some new shirts every time we visit the World (or sail away on a Disney Cruise). Last fall we spent our first stay ever at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campground. (And, I might add, we fell in love with the resort almost instantaneously and can’t wait to go back!) Before we left home, I made some new shirts for us to wear on our trip. I also took the design that I made for the shirts and put them on koozies! They were a big hit at our campsite party (we lucked out and THREE other families we’re friends with all had overlapping trips to Disney when we were there!!). After an incredibly fun dinner together at Hoop Dee Doo Review, we all enjoyed an after-party at our family’s campsite!
Fort Wilderness Campground Shirt Ideas
I made both of these shirts with my Silhouette cutting machine. For the Fort Wilderness logo shirt, I came up with the design by using stock images for the arrows and tent. I traced the Mickey head. Bob drew the campfire and I drew the marshmallow and stick!
I love the way they came out!! The kids’ shirts were just clearance cheaps from Walmart. Bob and I used Bella + Canvas tees – super comfy and soft. These are the same brand we use in our t-shirt shop! We got so many compliments on these shirts as we wore them around the Fort.
This is the same design that I put on our koozies (taking out 1971 when the Fort opened and replacing it with 2017 to commemorate our trip)!
Disney Happy Camper Shirts
These shirts were a last minute addition when I saw a similar shirt scroll past in my Pinterest feed. I used the same Mickey head that I traced in the image above, but chopped the bottom off. I put them on shirts for the kids, Lily had green (pictured) and Landon’s shirt was white.
Stay tuned for more posts about our stay at Fort Wilderness! We had a great stay and were thrilled with how much cheaper it was to camp (we have a camper) than to stay at a hotel resort.
Love the Fort wilderness shirts. Do you send out the svg? I would love to make those shirts. Thank you
Awww, I don’t have the SVG, sorry. A few years ago my old hard drive crashed and I lost all of my Disney shirt files! :(
Love these! Would you mind sharing what font you used for Fort Wilderness?
Thanks! Unfortunately I no longer have that file to be able to check but it was a classic western font.. I just looked online at a bunch of them and “Dry Gulch Font” is not an exact match, but it’s very close!
