Santa Brie HERO 1

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and I have a really fun and incredibly easy holiday cheese board recipe to share with you. This Santa Brie Cheese Board is not only festive but also incredibly tasty. With just a few simple steps, you can create a charming Santa Claus face out of creamy Brie cheese. Let’s dive right in and bring some cheesy joy to your holiday table!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Brie wheel
  • 6 oz bag of pepperoni
  • 1 olive
  • Crackers for serving

Instructions:

1. Prep the Brie: Start by taking your Brie wheel and slice off the top half of the white rind, leaving the bottom half intact. This will be the base for Santa’s face.

2. Create Santa’s Hat: Take some pepperoni slices and arrange them in a circular pattern on top of the Brie wheel to form Santa’s hat. Make sure it’s a generous portion to give Santa his classic look.

3. Add the Hat Brim: Cut a thin, straight line out of the remaining white top of the Brie. Place it just below the pepperoni hat to create Santa’s hat brim.

4. Santa’s Eyes: Slice the olive into two equal pieces to create Santa’s eyes. Place them on the upper part of the Brie wheel.

5. Santa’s Mustache and Hat Ball: With the remaining white Brie top, cut out a small mustache shape for Santa’s face. Place it just below his eyes. Also, cut out a small circle to create the fuzzy ball at the end of Santa’s hat. Set it below the tip of the pepperoni hat.

6. Santa’s Mouth: Using another slice of pepperoni, create Santa’s mouth. You can shape it into a smile and place it on Santa’s face.

7. Serve with Crackers: Surround your Santa Brie with an assortment of crackers.

Should you bake the brie?

That is entirely up to you! Personally, I love brie even more when it is baked and oozing out of the rind. If you decide to bake the brie, simply take the brie off the platter whenever you’re ready and place it in a foil-lined baking dish. Bake it at 350 F for 15-20 minutes. The brie will become runny and soft. Place the brie next to the cracker platter and guests can enjoy scooping up the brie with crackers. Top it with a piece of pepperoni for a real treat!

That’s it!

Give this incredibly easy yet charming Santa Brie Cheese Board a try this holiday season. It is an appetizer that’s sure to delight your guests – both with it’s taste and with its perfect, themed appearance.
