Add the antlers
Break pretzels into curved pieces and gently press one pretzel piece into each side of the roll to create Rudolph’s antlers.

Attach the eyes
Press two candy eyes onto the front of the roll. They’ll stick easily to the soft bread.

Finish with the nose
Use a toothpick to secure a cherry tomato to the front of the slider for Rudolph’s iconic red nose.

Serve immediately and prepare for instant smiles.

Tips for Best Results

  • Add decorations last. If you’re keeping sliders warm, add the eyes, antlers, and noses right before serving so everything stays in place.
  • Cherry tomato size matters. Smaller cherry or grape tomatoes work best so the nose doesn’t overpower the face.
  • Cheese choice matters too. American, cheddar, or Colby Jack melt nicely and peek out just enough.
  • For parties, set these up assembly-line style if you’re making a big batch. Kids love helping decorate their own “reindeer.”

When to Serve These

  • Holiday movie nights
  • Classroom or school parties
  • Christmas Eve dinner
  • Festive lunch trays
  • Kids’ holiday gatherings

They’re hearty enough to be a meal but cute enough to feel special, which is kind of the perfect holiday combo.
