Rainbow Seeds Skittles Snack + Printable Tags

Because… who wouldn’t want to grow a rainbow? Use Skittles candy to put these Rainbow Seeds Snacks together – perfect St. Patrick’s Day treat!

Even if you aren’t fully immersed in the land of rainbows (and unicorns! Thanks, Lily!) year round like we are over here, by mid-March you can typically count on seeing some leprechaun induced rainbow fun all over the place. Our kids think the idea of leprechauns is absolutely hilarious and while we have yet to catch a leprechaun, we are usually the target of a leprechaun trick or two.

Today’s new printable will make a great addition to our collection of St. Patrick’s Day content! You could use any kind of colorful candy for this treat. I tend to use Skittles for my rainbow themed snacks, the reason being that it helps ensure I am not sending anything with nuts (or traces of them) to either kid’s school. Oh! Colorful cereal would work great too! “Rainbow Seeds” would be fun to give your own kids, or perfect for a classroom snack if you are a teacher.

They are so easy to make and my printable tags will add the perfect finishing touch. I could also imagine these being left by the leprechauns for the kids, can’t you?

Rainbow Seeds Treat Supplies

To make these rainbow seeds treats, you will need:

Skittles (or any rainbow/colorful candy or cereal of your choosing)
Clear treat bags (mine were 4″x 6″ in size)
Stapler
Rainbow Seeds printable tags

How to Assemble

1. Print out our Rainbow Seeds tags. There are 4 tags per page – print as many as you need. I recommend printing them on white card stock to make them fairly sturdy.
NOTE: these tags are for personal use only.

2. Fill each clear treat bag with Skittles.

3. Fold each tag in half. Place a tag on top of the treat bag. Staple the tag in place!

So cute!
