Society has turned to online socialization more than ever before. Zoom meetings once reserved for tech companies and cyber academies have become commonplace for everything from holiday greetings to virtual games with friends. The elf on the shelf is no exception! Check out this hilarious holiday printable that your elf can use to be “so 2020, just like us.”
Okay, listen up.
I’ll admit it: I am having WAY too much fun with the elf this year. Now don’t get me wrong, we have fun with this little creature EVERY year, but for some reason, the printables that I have created this year are really cracking me up.
You may have already seen our wildly popular elf on the shelf quarantine kit printable!
So let’s talk Zoom.
How many of you have participated in a Zoom call of some sort this year? Have your kids been on Zoom? (Or maybe it’s not Zoom – but Skype, Facetime, some sort of video call.) These video screens have become a reality in every day life for the time being. You might see the tiled “Brady Bunch” style video screens making up audiences on talk shows, at sports games, etc.
That makes this new printable the PERFECT addition to our already-amazing ELF ON THE SHELF IDEA COLLECTION.
You don’t need much besides our printable (see below) and the elf to set this scene. Sure, you can add some props if ya want, but they aren’t necessary. (The succulent is from IKEA and the fairy lights are on amazon. I had had the paper bunting for years – it’s similar to this one.)

We recommend printing this out on white cardstock so that it’s nice and sturdy. Cut the entire design out along the black line. Then fold the cardstock along the white line to create a self-standing scene.
Decorate if/how you’d like!

I used the “quarantine elf” printable and so many friends loved the idea. I sent them the link to your blog so they could join in on the fun with your free printable.
