Got an all-star QUARAN-teacher that you’d really like to thank? How about a teacher who went above and beyond during all of this? Or maybe the teacher who was somehow able to transition from classroom to zoom screen with no time to downshift. I have a feeling you know someone who fits these descriptions. Check out these printable teacher tags to stick on gift cards, other gifts, or simply as a stand alone message. They are a great way to show appreciation while social distancing and/or learning virtually.
I still find it hard to believe, understand and even sometimes accept everything that has changed in just a few weeks’ time. I always joke that I’m a planner/Type A and I crave schedules and predictability. Even though I joke, it’s totally true and it’s who I am at my core. So all of this unknown, all of the cancellations and adjustments, have really been the ultimate test for my flexibility.
My kids are making there way through their distance learning and while they miss their friends and teachers terribly, they are probably adapting better than I have. Of course, technology plays a huge role and this has been a major help. While they might not be in a physical school setting, they have been able to stay connected virtually. Zoom classroom meetings, dance class via Google Hangout, instrument practice on a music platform… it’s pretty amazing.
The biggest takeaway during all of this is how much a true, in-person human connection can really do for the soul. There’s really no substitute.
Time to Thank These Amazing Teachers!
Teacher Appreciation Day is 5/5/20.
In addition, the school year will be wrapping up for our kids for the year in the next 1-2 months. I don’t know about you, but I am more grateful than ever for my kids’ wonderful teachers (and that’s saying a lot because I am always crazy grateful for teachers)!
Did you see the list I wrote of easy ways to thank a teacher when school is closed? That’s a great place to start.
Check out this fun set of printable teacher gift tags (get them below) that I made yesterday. They focus on saying thanks during a trying time.

I recommend printing these tags on white cardstock to make them a bit sturdier than regular paper.
Note about the file: This file is a PDF that contains 4 pages. You can print any/all that you’d like. One page contains all three tags in case you’d like to print a variety. The other pages offer one tag type per page if you decide to use just one of the designs.
You can grab our printable tags right here. Simply enter your email address in the box and opt-in to receive our free newsletter. Check your inbox for this printable, which you will receive as a subscriber bonus. NOTE: these tags are for personal use only. You may not sell the file or the physical tags.
How to Assemble the Gift Tags
You can stick these tags on gifts or gift bags. Another option – print the tags, cut them out, don’t punch a hole in them. Send them in the mail as a card!
To tie them to a gift bag: Gather the tags, scissors, a single hole punch and twine or ribbon. Punch a hole in the top corner of the tag. Tie the tag to the gift bag handle and you’re done!
