Looking for a challenge to try some new classes and activities on your Peloton Bike? Grab our Printable Peloton Bike Challenge!
If you have been following my Instagram Stories since, oh, mid-October or so, you might have seen glimpses of the 40th birthday present I bought for myself. That’s right – I gave in to all the hype and bought a Peloton spin bike. To be very honest, I had no idea what to expect. I was also completely nervous that I had just made a major purchase that could potentially end up being a very expensive clothing rack in the spare room.
I am very grateful to report – it ended up being one of the best things I ever did for myself. I’m not really a “go to the gym” person. I never have been. A gym is way too socially stressful for me and I have always preferred to workout at home. Home workouts are of course also much easier than finding time to get to a gym when you have small kids at home. My Peloton arrived in October and I hopped on that same day for my first ride. It took a few weeks to really get the hang of things (and to be able to sit down without pain LOL). But just this week (late December) I am proud to tell you that I just logged my 100th ride. (Which the Pelo world refers to as a Century Ride.) Amazing!

Must-Have Peloton Accessories
After logging hundreds of miles on my Peloton, there are a few must-have accessories that definitely make my rides more enjoyable! I’ll list them below in case you are interested!
AirPods or other wireless bluetooth ear buds of your choosing.
Padded Bike Seat Cover (I used this for a couple of weeks and then I was able to take it off and ride without any discomfort on the Peloton seat.)
Powerful Fan (I LOVE this Vornado model! I start my rides with the fan turned off, but pointing towards me. When I hit the point in my ride where I feel like I’m going to die, I turn the fan on. Talk about a boost! Oh – and I plugged my fan into a smart plug! So all I have to do when I am riding is holler out, “ALEXA! Turn on the fan!!” and I get an instant breeze!)
Squeeze-top Water Bottle – I have tried out several kinds of water bottles while on my Peloton and the squeeze-top bottles offer the quickest hydration with the least fumbling around!
Printable Peloton Bike Challenge Checklist
Now that we got the must-have Peloton accessories out of the way, let’s talk challenges! Peloton is always offering challenges and fun badges that you can earn by participating in various classes, series, etc. It is in that spirit that I made this printable challenge!
I made the challenge up with a year’s time in mind, though you can certainly blow through it as quickly or slowly as you’d like. My printable file also includes a blank challenge page! Because I know that everyone has different goals and ambitions, I thought some might prefer a blank checklist to fill in for themselves! There is also a space at the top (next to the hashtag symbol) for you to write your leaderboard name.
