Sometimes a little encouragement goes a long way! Leave a note for your kiddo direct from the North Pole! These printable notes from Santa or your family elf are quick and easy to use! Perfect for nights when your time is crunched.
Time for a new printable to add to our huge printable collection!
I have to say, I just did a complete 180 on this printable. I was all set to post it as an elf printable, but then I realized that it was definitely not exclusive to the elves. Oh no, definitely not! This printable comes with 6 different notes and they can easily be from the elf, parents, or certainly from the guy in red up North.
Christmas is coming once again and it never hurts to have a little magic in your pocket. I don’t know about you, but I love to “catch” my kids when they are being good. I learned back in my teaching days how powerful this tactic could be when it came to self-esteem building.
Sure, there are days when every kid needs a reminder to make better choices. But there is something so internally motivating as getting a verbal or written (or real LOL) pat on the back for a job well done.
North Pole Notes from Santa
If you choose to go the Santa or elf route, this one will work great for behavior reinforcement. Let’s face it: the days (weeks!) leading up to Christmas are usually pretty wild. You have non-stop activities, sugar and well, pure excitement and anticipation as the 25th of December rolls around.
In the weeks before Christmas, many years I am just grasping at straws to keep the kids focused and trying to keep it together!
These easy-to-use notes are perfect for quick messages to the kids.
Naughty and Nice Note Templates
No matter which message your kids need, this printable has some variety for you to choose from. There are positive themed notes for catching good behavior. The printable file also has some notes that encourage better choices and better behavior.
This is the time of year when most kids are fairly concerned about staying OFF of that naughty list. These notes can serve as a positive message that will assure the kids that they are on the right track. (Or you can use them as a gentle reminder that naughty behavior needs to be corrected in order to stay on the nice list!)
Post Office Optional
Delivering these notes can be as simple or as extravagant as you want to make them. (Personally, I tend to side with SIMPLE, but you do you!) If you’d like, you could pop these notes into an envelope and stamp them (be sure you use the appropriate postage!). Drop the completed envelope in the mailbox and let the USPS deliver them to your kiddo for a surprise in the mail. (You can really throw them off by using the North Pole as the return address on the envelope!)
I like to print notes like these and leave them where I know the kids will find them easily (bedroom, kitchen, etc).
Colorful Notes to Leave for the Kids
These notes have a fun burst of color to them! I recommend printing them on white paper or cardstock. Keep in mind that the colors that print from your printer may vary a bit from the colors shown in my pictures.
You can print them on any standard printer. (Or you can upload the PDF to an office print center such as Staples if you do not have a printer at home.)
