I know I echo the sentiments of many of you when I say this but oh, HOW I LOVE FALL! There’s no one reason that this season is my favorite. From the hot summer days turning cooler to the traditional fall events like hayrides, pumpkin picking and bonfires… it’s a feel-good time of year. The weather tends to be super pleasant here in the Northeast and the kids are back in school (hooray!). The holidays are still to come and of course, fall sports abound.
Scavenger Hunts Are Fun Boredom Busters
My kids LOVE scavenger hunts and I love any activity that promotes time outside! I also love scavenger hunts because they are great boredom busters. My kids enjoy them because it’s always a fun challenge to see how many items you can find. It’s kind of like a treasure hunt!
This activity is easy enough for most kids to do either individually or on teams.
You need very few supplies – just the printable (see below), a writing utensil, and a clipboard if desired.
