Printable Elf Farewell Letter for Christmas Eve
Send your elf packing on Christmas Eve with a sweet farewell letter to the kiddos!
Also known as The Day the Elves Pack Their Bags. It’s time for them to wrap up another holiday season of mischief and antics and head back to the North Pole. As much as my kids hate to see their precious elf leave for another year, they do look forward to Christmas Eve because in our house, they are allowed to touch the elf on Christmas Eve. We figure if the basic elf protocol is that an elf loses its magic when touched by human children, on Christmas Eve the elf can hitch a ride back to the North Pole with Santa’s sleigh. No magic needed on Christmas Eve!
So every year, on the morning of Christmas Eve, the kids grab Oboe from whatever spot he’s in that day and they take him around the house with them alllll day. At night we set Oboe out with our cookies and milk for Santa and by the next morning, he’s gone for another year.
