BBQ Themed Teacher Gift
Round up some barbecue themed items at the dollar store and put together this adorable BBQ themed teacher gift. Perfect for Teacher Appreciation or the end of the school year.
As sure as the late Spring temperatures start to rise, the calendar gets ever closer to that last day of school. Here is another fun and easy teacher gift idea (we are really starting to have quite the collection!). I used a BBQ theme to put this gift together. You can round up an oven mitt and a utensil or two. An apron or any other typical barbecue related accessory would work great. One note – many BBQ tools (even kabob skewers) have VERY sharp ends. Don’t send your kids in with anything sharp that could injure someone or be mistaken for a weapon. Pick things with blunt, non-sharp ends.
I found a cute bbq oven mitt at the dollar store and also picked up a silicone brush and a pair of tongs.
You can get our free printable tags to dress up the final gift (and have your child sign his/her name on the back of the tag). Get your free printable tag here by entering your email at the prompt. Check your inbox (might go to promotions tab if you have gmail). An email should arrive within minutes that contains the free printable link. NOTE: This file is for PERSONAL USE ONLY. You may NOT sell the digital file or sell the printed work. You may NOT redistribute the digital file or printed work.
This file is a nice and easy PDF file. There are (6) 3×3 inch images on the page. Print as many copies as you need – I recommend printing them on white cardstock. Note: these are for personal use only.
If you’re looking to “up” the value of the gift, simply tuck a gift card in the oven mitt (or tape one to the outside).
I punched a hole in the top corner of my BBQ gift tag and used twine to tie it around one of the utensils.

The link to the printable takes me to the “Serving up” tag. Where can I find the “well done BBQ” tag? Thank you :)
WHOOPS! Sorry about that! It should be fixed now – mind trying it again?
It worked! Thank you so much!!
Excellent! Thanks for letting me know!
