Ingredients:
- 8 oz Shredded White Cheddar Cheese
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Black Olives
- 1 Can Refried Beans
- Star Cookie Cutter (for that patriotic touch!)
Directions:
- Prepare the Tray: Start by spreading the refried beans evenly over a rectangular serving tray. This will form the base of your flag.
- Add the Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded white cheddar cheese over the beans.
- Star Section: Place your star cookie cutter in the top left corner of the tray. Fill the cookie cutter with black olives to create the star section of the flag.
- Create the Stripes: Take your cherry tomatoes and slice them in half. Carefully place them in horizontal rows across the tray to form the red stripes of the flag. The bright red of the tomatoes will pop against the white cheese, creating a colorful contrast.
- Serve and Enjoy: Your Patriotic Flag Bean Dip is ready to serve! Enjoy it immediately or cover and refrigerate until it’s time to serve. Pair this festive dip with a variety of chips or veggie sticks for dipping.

Tips for the Perfect Dip:
- Chill the Dip: If you have time, let the dip chill in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving. This helps the flavors meld together beautifully.
- Customize Your Dip: Feel free to add a layer of sour cream under the cheese for extra flavor, or sprinkle some chopped cilantro or green onions for added freshness. Sometimes we take a packet of taco seasoning and mix it into the beans!
- Make It a Day Ahead: This dip can easily be made a day ahead, allowing you to focus on enjoying the day with your loved ones.
