- Make the Eyes
- Cut two circles from the white paper and two smaller circles from the black paper. These will be the turkey’s eyes! Layer the black circles on top of the white circles, then attach them above the beak.

- Create the Feathers
- To make the turkey’s vibrant feathers, cut three rectangular strips of construction paper in red, orange, and yellow. Fold each strip accordion-style (like a fan) to add texture to the feathers. When done, attach each folded strip together, creating a colorful “fan” of feathers.

- Put It All Together
- Attach the top of the paper bag to the colorful feathers by securing it onto the accordion-style fan you just created. Your turkey now has a beautiful tail!
And that’s it! You now have a colorful, handmade paper bag turkey ready for display. Kids will love the hands-on creativity, and you’ll have a cute holiday decoration that’s perfect for Thanksgiving!
