Wine. Nectar of the gods. Soother of the stress. Adult grape juice. Wine is always a popular gift idea and here’s a way to put a really humorous touch on yours. Now of course, you need to know your gift recipient before you just toss a bottle of wine at them. Do they even like wine? If they like wine, what kind of wine do they like? Are you allowed to gift them wine (might be against school policy to bring in alcohol, even for gifts).
Now assuming that you have the triple green light – wine gifts are permitted, your recipient likes wine and you know what kind they prefer, here’s a super simple gift idea!
Assembly only takes a couple of minutes:
1. Open the tag that I designed here. Right click and “save as” on your hard drive. Don’t forget where you saved it!
2. Print the file on white card stock. This file is formatted to look best as a 3-4 inch long tag.
3. Sign the tag (or have your kiddo sign it).
4. Use twine or ribbon to affix the tag to your wine bottle.
Another option – pick up mini wine bottles and make a gift basket with them. Tie this tag to the basket. I made up gift baskets for Landon’s preschool teachers this year. I filled each tote with 4 mini bottles of wine. I stuck a Target gift card in there too and also made each teacher a personalized wine glass with my trusty Silhouette.
