Halloween is hands-down one of my favorite times to whip up fun and festive foods for the family. Whether it’s a quick dinner before trick-or-treating or a spooky party snack, themed food always makes the night more memorable. These Mummy Hot Dogs are one of the easiest (and cutest!) recipes you’ll ever make. With just three simple ingredients, you can have these little spooky snacks wrapped and ready in no time.

If you’ve tried my Bloody Eyeball Spaghetti, Boo-Sketti, or Spooky Ghost Fluff Drink, you already know how easy it is to take everyday foods and give them a Halloween twist. These mummy hot dogs are right in line with that theme – fast, simple, and sure to get plenty of giggles when they hit the table.

Hot Dog Mummy Recipe
Ingredients
- Hot Dogs
- Crescent Roll Dough
- Candy Eyes

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into thin strips. You can even roll the dough a bit to make the strips more string-like.

- Wrap the strips of dough around the hot dogs, leaving little gaps so they look like spooky mummies. Place the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet.

- Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.

- Once they’ve cooled slightly, press two candy eyes into each mummy.

- Serve warm and enjoy!
Tips & Serving Ideas
- Serve with ketchup or marinara sauce as “blood” for dipping.
- These make a fantastic Halloween party appetizer or a fun dinner for kids on busy October nights.
- Pair them with other themed foods like Halloween Pizza Hack (store-bought pizza with cheese cut into spooky shapes) or a batch of Halloween Ghost Snack Cups for a complete spooky spread.
