If you ever had to blow into a Nintendo cartridge to get it to work…
If you knew the exact spot in the mall where your crew would meet on Friday nights…
If you made your own mixtapes off the radio (DJ chatter and all)…

You, my friend, are going to LOVE this.

I’m so excited to finally share something I’ve been working on behind the scenes:
🎉 Mixtapes & Roller Skates: A Gen X Adult Coloring Book 🎉

This coloring book is a throwback dream come true – packed with hilarious, totally relatable phrases from our favorite decade(s). It’s a celebration of growing up Gen X, where we had the best music, the weirdest snacks, and a childhood full of payphones, Lisa Frank folders, and neon everything.

I have been kicking around the idea for awhile now, and then the flood of comments on this mall nostalgia Facebook post inspired me to make it a reality.

What’s Inside?

The book includes:

  • Funny and nostalgic pages with sayings like:
    • I survived dial-up, vhs tapes, and floppy disks.
    • DON’T TAPE OVER MY SHOW!
    • The mall was freedom and french fries.
    • Meet me at the snack stand after couple’s skate.
    • My bangs had volume and ambition.
  • Each page has a different floral illustration
  • One-sided pages on crisp white paper so you can use markers or colored pencils without bleed-through
  • 30+ coloring pages designed for adults (but your teens might try to steal it!)

Whether you’re looking for a stress-relieving activity, a laugh-out-loud gift idea, or just an excuse to grab your colored pencils and escape back to your childhood bedroom, this book totally delivers.

Why I Made It

Honestly? I wanted something fun. Something that would speak to the sleepover-core, sticker-trading, pencil-top-eraser-collecting, pizza-on-a-Friday-night version of me. And if you’re anything like me, you probably need a little stress relief from parenting, work, or just… adulthood.

So this coloring book is for us.
The latchkey kids.
The mall rats.
The mix tape makers and Lisa Frank collectors.
