LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia Preview
Today was all about the love of all things LEGO! We had the opportunity to attend the media preview of the brand new LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia. This 33,000 square foot indoor play space is located inside the Plymouth Meeting Mall. We took the kids for a fun morning of exploration and LEGO building as we took in the sights and sounds of this brand new venue.
Check out our video tour that the kids helped me to film:
LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia features 10 distinct playzones:
Imagination Express (an interactive ride)
MINILAND (featuring iconic Philadelphia landmarks made entirely from LEGO bricks)
LEGO Ninjago Training Camp
LEGO 4D Cinema
LEGO Creative Workshop
LEGO Friends
Pirate Adventure Island
LEGO Racers Build and Test
DUPLO Park
Earthquake Tables
There was a birthday party room and even a cafe (which, I might add, serves up a very tasty latte!).
Lily had a blast building a tower on the earthquake tables!
We all enjoyed the 4D theater. The movie that we saw was a Chima themed film. I heard one of the employees mention that they had at least one other film that they played in rotation.
We had so much fun exploring this brand new LEGOLAND Discovery Center! Doors open to the public on April 6, 2017.
