I’m Thankful For… (a Printable Family Activity)
Print out these adorable leaves and pass them around for your family to fill out with things they are thankful for. String the leaves together for a quick and cute Thanksgiving decoration!
We can’t get enough of the Thanksgiving theme of being thankful, and today’s printable is no exception! Last year my sister arrived for Thanksgiving dinner and had colorful strips of construction paper ready to hand out, along with some markers. We all took some pieces of paper and wrote things that we were thankful for on them. Then the kids made each strip of paper into a link and constructed an adorable paper chain.
For our feast this year, I came up with this version that incorporated fall colored leaves. You can print out the leaves and pass the papers around for people to fill out. Then cut out the leaves and tape them together end to end for a cute garland. Even easier? Cut out the leaves and scatter them around your dinner table on Thanksgiving!

Print out however many copies of our I’m Thankful for… Leaves as you need. There are 4 leaves on each page. I printed mine out on regular printer paper, however you could always use card stock if you wanted your leaves to be a little sturdier.
I love activities like these and I always enjoy seeing what everyone (the kids in particular) comes up with. We have fun reading everyone’s contributions aloud and I think it’s always a great reminder that there are so many things to be thankful for in our lives.
What kind of Thanksgiving traditions do your family participate in? Are they the same activities every year or do you like to switch it up from year to year?
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
