Let’s Make Some Snowman!

Follow the instructions below to make your own set of pretzel snowmen.

1. Set the Stage: Grab a piece of wax paper and lay it out.

2. First Dip: Melt the white candy melts as instructed. Dip 5-7 pretzel sticks halfway into the melted chocolate, then lay them side by side on your wax paper, allowing the chocolate edges to touch. This forms the snowman’s head. Pop these in the fridge for 5 minutes.

3. Double Dip: Give those pretzels a second dip in the white chocolate for a thicker coat. Let the excess chocolate drip off and smooth out the edges. Another quick chill in the fridge for 5 minutes.

4. Adding the Top Hat: Now, melt your choice of milk or dark chocolate. Dip the non-white-chocolate side of your pretzel bundles into it, forming the snowman’s hat. Let them chill for 5 minutes, then go for a second dip for a richer look.

5. Brim of the Hat: Dip a single pretzel stick into the milk or dark chocolate, and place it at the meeting point of the two chocolates on the bundle. This is the snowman’s hat brim.

6. Face Time: Time to make the snowman’s face. Use the black gel to draw two eyes and a smiling mouth on the white chocolate. Then, add a large dot on the hat and pop a winter sprinkle on it for a festive touch.

With the orange gel, draw a cute carrot nose. And voilà, your snowman has come to life!

7. Set Aside: Let your tray sit either at room temperature OR pop your baking sheets back into the fridge. Once all of the icing/gel has set and hardened, they are ready to enjoy.

There you have it – the most charming Snowman Pretzels you’ve ever seen! Perfect for parties or a fun activity with the kids on the next snow day. They would also make a great snack idea for your Christmas or holiday party.
