How to Cook Pork Tenderloin in the Instant Pot

If you have not tried to Cook Pork Tenderloin in the Instant Pot, what are you waiting for?  It’s incredibly easy and takes just a few minutes of prep work.  Sit down to a delicious meal that tastes like it has been roasting for hours.

Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin

I am excited to share a new Instant Pot recipe with you!  We have enjoyed this easy meal a couple times in the last month because it is SO easy to make and everyone in the family enjoys the taste!  I know that I have said it before, but I’ll say it again: I love using my Instant Pot to make dinners, especially on weeknights.  We are perpetually busy during the week.  Lily already had our schedule jam-packed between dance and horseback riding, yet now this spring we added tball for Landon to the mix!  We need dinners that cook fast but taste delicious… dinners that won’t dry out if we need to let them sit until we’re finally back home and ready to eat.

Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin

Last month I picked up a pork tenderloin and wasn’t really sure how to cook it in the Instant Pot.  Luckily for me, the IP is pretty good at taking over the cooking and producing a tasty meal with minimal effort.  This recipe is literally one that I threw together by pulling random herbs and spices out of my cabinet and sprinkling them over the roast.  There was no measuring, just sprinkling!

Pork Tenderloin
2 Cups vegetable broth
1 bag baby carrots
A dash of the following: salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, onion powder, basil

1. Press the saute button on your Instant Pot. Give it a few sprays with non-stick cooking spray. Brown the pork tenderloin on all sides.

2. Turn Instant Pot from Saute to Meat/Stew with a 30 minute cook time. Place metal rack in the bottom of your IP. Place pork tenderloin on top of the rack.

3. Pour vegetable stock into the bottom of the pot. Sprinkle the pork with a dash of the herbs and spices I listed above. Add carrots.

4. Place lid on Instant Pot and set valve to “seal.” When the timer goes off, you can quick release if you’re ready to eat.  There will be a lot of steam spatter due to the broth, so place a dishtowel over the valve.
