Hands Down, You’re the Best Around Lotion Gift Idea + Printable Tag

Gifting made simple, that’s our goal!  Round up some great smelling lotions and use our printable tags to create a cute gift in minutes!

We are in full blown holiday gifting mode over here!  I am trying to find the balance between work and family (is there even such a thing?) and check everything off of my massive holiday to-do list. One huge item on my list every year are gifts for teachers.  Now with two kids in two different schools, the list is quite long. We have teachers, assistant teachers, specials teachers (art, library, gym, music), bus driver, secretaries and the list goes on.  And while my bank account sadly does not allow for elaborate gifts for a bazillion people (no matter how much I wish it did), I do still like to send in gifts for as many of the kids’ various teachers as I can.

I typically gift a gift card to the main teachers and then try to think of something smaller for all of those extra-type teachers.  That gift might be a gift card in a smaller increment that the main teacher, or a tangible item like lotion, blankets, etc.  Make sure you take a look at our huge teacher gift archive – it is filled with ideas and lots of free printable gift card holders and gift tags.

This year’s gift for all of these lovely teachers?  A big tube of Bath and Body Works holiday scented lotion.  (Okay, I’ll fess up: the products in my pics are not actually hand lotion as the tag suggests.  *gasp* It’s body cream.  LOL  I decided it was hand-lotion-like enough to use the pun on my cards.)

Tape
Ribbon or twine

How to Assemble

Print our Hands Down gift tags on white cardstock.  Punch a single hole in the top left corner. Write the recipient’s name on the back of the tag (or have your kiddo fill them out for a nice personal touch).

Use your twine or ribbon to tie each tag to a tube of lotion.  I also added a piece of clear tape to each tube to ensure that the tag stays put. If you are looking to up the value of this gift, simply tape a gift card to the back of the tag!

This is a really quick, easy, and cute way to dress up a gift. The holiday scented lotions look so pretty on their own, that was a bonus!
