Elf Pets Have Arrived

A few years ago, we saw the addition of elf pets to the already popular line up of Elf on the Shelf dolls and accessories. The pets (a reindeer, a St. Bernard dog, or an arctic fox) are fun additions to your magical elf family! The caveat with the pets, is that (unlike the elves), kids are allowed and encouraged to pick them up and snuggle them. Our family resisted the pets year after year (like come on, we already have an elf on the shelf to clean up after – no way we were adding a messy PET!). And then this year, just look what happened: our elf brought a reindeer. Thanks a lot, Oboe.
