It simply doesn’t get much easier than this! Try these easy waffle iron cinnamon rolls for a fun breakfast or snack. The kids can ice and decorate them with sprinkles!
This fun treat is so darn easy to make, you’ll be asking yourself why you didn’t try it before! We have probably all made cinnamon rolls from pre-packaged dough the traditional way. You open the tube of dough and place the rolls in a baking dish. After baking in the oven, they are ready to go. It’s a quick and easy way to serve up some tasty cinnamon rolls without having to make the dough from scratch.
In this version, you can skip the oven altogether. Pull out your waffle iron and cook up the cinnamon rolls in no time. Bonus – they pop out with a traditional “waffle iron” grid and just happens to hold the icing perfectly!
Besides a waffle iron, the only supplies you really need for these treats are the food ingredients (see below) and a knife and spatula. I would definitely consider this to be a kid-friendly recipe. The kids should be supervised when using the waffle iron and then they can go ahead and add the frosting and sprinkles.
