Easy Play Doh Valentines with Printable Jar Labels

I am always on the lookout for a non-candy Valentine idea for the kids to hand out.  It’s not that I necessarily have anything against candy. It’s just that every single year they come home from their classroom Valentine’s Day parties and their entire bag is full of sugary candy crap.  I’m not talking 1 or 2 pieces either.  Last year Landon (preschool) came home with more than FIFTEEN different candies from fellow classmates.  He gave out these fire fighter rubber duck Valentines and I am not exaggerating when I tell you that it was one of the ONLY non-candy items handed out that day.  Look – candy is fine.  Sugar, some in moderation, is no problem.  But when my 3 year old comes home toting a sack full of sugar, there’s no way he’s eating the majority of it and I was glad I sent in a non-candy option.  That’s all I’ll say about that and as always, you do you.  LOL

Hey!  So!  Play-Doh is a great non-candy Valentine for kids.  Most kids love it and you can pick up the multi-packs to save some money.  Amazon has Play-Doh 10-packs, 24-packs and 36-packs that are convenient for classroom gifting. If you have a lot of kids to give Valentines to, these party favor sized jars are PERFECT and super cost-effective.  We will be putting together these easy Play Doh Valentines this year for both of our kids.

Play-Doh Jars (regular sized or the small jars!)
Scotch Tape
Free printable labels

How to get the free tags: Follow this link to head to our sign up page.  Submit your email address and you will immediately receive an email from us with a link to the file.

Print out your desired number of label sheets.  I have included a larger size which fits the 3 oz jars as pictured above.  There is also a smaller size which will fit the smaller jars and party favor size jars.  (See big and small labels in picture below.)

Cut out the labels and have your kiddo sign his name at the bottom of each one.

Use tape to affix the labels to the jar lids.
