You are more than likely familiar with the classis campfire treat, s’mores. This delicious combination of ooey, gooey, melted marshmallow and chocolate bar sandwiched between two graham crackers is a summer MUST-MAKE! Check out this delicious oven skillet s’mores alternative – with iconic Peeps treats to really brighten up your dessert table!
This dessert treat is simply SUCCULENT! I was leery of it actually combing together, but I have to tell you: it could not have been easier to prepare! We made up a Peeps s’mores skillet last year over Easter weekend. It was a nice, warm day outside and we brought the skillet out onto the patio. The entire fam was only too happy to dive right into this dish and we ate and ate and ate, until there was barely anything left.
I am so happy to add this yummy treat to our collection of Easter content.

Peeps Skillet S’mores Ingredients and Supplies
You will want to have the following items on hand to make this snack:
- Cast iron skillet
- Peeps
- 12 oz milk chocolate chips or chocolate melts
- Handful of Cadbury Mini Eggs
- Graham Crackers
How to Make Oven S’mores in Cast Iron Skillet
Easy Peeps S'mores Oven Skillet
Equipment
- cast iron skillet
Ingredients
- 12 oz milk chocolate chips or chocolate melts
- 10-15 Cadbury mini eggs
- 1 box graham crackers
- 24 Peeps Marshmallows We used 6 chicks, 18 bunnies.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425° F.
- Spread chocolate chips in an even layer on the bottom of your cast iron skillet. Top with Cadbury Mini Eggs.
- Arrange Peeps over the chocolate in any pattern/array that you prefer!
- We covered the entire skillet with Peeps.
- Bake skillet for 5-7 minutes. Once the chocolate has melted and the Peeps have browned slightly on top, it is ready!
- Remove the skillet from the oven and place on a trivet.
- Use graham crackers to dip into the chocolate and Peeps!
- This dish is best enjoyed shortly after removing from the oven. Be mindful that the skillet will be very hot.
- Enjoy!

Needless to say, we dug right in and weren’t left with much in the skillet by the end!

I have to say, we all got such a big kick out of these dessert. It was fun to put together, it looked awesome, and it tasted spectacular.
