Looking for a quick and festive St. Patrick’s Day craft that doesn’t require fancy supplies or a trip to the craft store?
This adorable Leprechaun House Paper Craft is perfect for classroom parties, rainy afternoons, or a little holiday fun at home. It’s made with basic construction paper and comes together surprisingly fast – plus, kids LOVE the 3D house effect and cute shamrock detail..

Bonus: everything here is budget-friendly and easy enough for little hands with a bit of adult help.
Let’s get crafting!
Leprechaun House Paper Craft
Materials
You’ll need:
- Scissors
- Marker (black works best for outlining windows and doors)
- Construction paper (green, light green, and yellow)
- Glue stick or liquid glue
That’s it – super simple!

How to Make Your Leprechaun House
Step 1: Create the 3D House Base
Start by folding and forming your green construction paper into a simple 3D box shape. This will be the main body of your leprechaun house.
Tip: Lightly crease your folds first before gluing to help everything line up nicely.

Step 2: Cut Out the House Details
Using your extra construction paper, cut out:
- Scalloped roof trim (light green)
- Three small yellow rectangles for windows
- One rounded yellow door
- A small shamrock for decoration
If you’re working with younger kids, you may want to pre-cut these pieces ahead of time.

Next, use your marker to draw window panes on each window and outline the door. A tiny dot makes a perfect doorknob!

Step 3: Assemble the Pieces
Glue the yellow windows and door onto the front of your house. Add the green trim and shamrock decoration.

That’s it!
