I am so excited to share the Mother’s Day gifts that I made for our grandmas this year!
I used mason jars and wrapped painters tape around the bottom – leaving a couple inches of glass at the bottom to glitter.
I brushed a slightly-thicker-than-thin coating of Mod Podge on the exposed glass at the bottom. I then sprinkled the Mod Podge with Extra Fine Glitter until the entire bottom of the glass was covered. I let the jars dry (upside down) overnight.
The next morning, I shook excess glitter off of the jars.
I used my Silhouette Cameo machine to cut the graphic I designed in vinyl. Using transfer tape, I applied the vinyl to the jar and smoothed out any air bubbles.
Before wrapping, I added a battery operated flicking tea light to each jar and placed the lid on top. This was the look when I lowered the lights!
You could personalize these gifts for anyone on your list! They are so personal and really look neat when they glow on a shelf or table.
