I did not think that a trip to CVS would happen this week – but I could not say no to FREE (actually MONEYMAKER) Zyrtec. There are a bunch of freebies at CVS this week, but a few of them were already out of stock by this evening.
Here is the CVS coupon policy. I suggest printing this policy and taking it to the store with you!
:: What’s the point of this? Each week we head to CVS to spend as LITTLE money out of pocket as possible- while generating as many ECBs that we can! Read my CVS 101 post to learn all about CVS and Extra Care Bucks.
Entering the store this week we had:
$8.99 ECBs
We bought:
One transaction today:
Total before discounts:
(1) 5 Count Zyrtec @ $5.99 (Get $5.99 ECBs WYB 1 – limit 1)
(2) John Frieda Shampoo @ $5/each (Get $3 ECBs WYS $10 – Limit ?)
(1) CVS gauze @ $3.99 (We still had $3 in ECBs to use up and the other items on our list were sold out… so we picked up gauze that we needed anyway for a nasty cut that one of our horses got last week and we’ve been bandaging.)
Total Sale Price: $19.98 (Retail value = $24.96)
We used the following coupons:
(2) $2/1 John Frieda coupons from the 6/5 SS
(1) FREE 5-count Zyrtec coupon (no longer available)
$8 ECBs
Total out of pocket: $1
Total into pocket: $8.99 ECBs
Total left from last week: $.99 ECBs
BONUS: the magic coupon machine spit out $15 ECBs that we earned from previous CVS Beauty Club purchases!!! So we received a total of $23.99 ECBs today!
