CVS Christmas Clearance
Friends. Tonight as I hurtled towards the checkout at CVS, basket piled high with loot, I was slicked in sheen of sweat because I was that positively giddy over the clearance scores I found tonight. I stopped into CVS on my way home because I wanted to try to find some bags of red M&Ms in the Christmas clearance section to use for Valentine’s Day gifts.
So when I saw the first of two sets of clearance marked at 75% off, it was exciting but as I had expected.
But then.
I rounded the corner.
And found another set of clearance shelves. MARKED 90% OFF (except for food items).
I’m sorry that picture is so blurry. It’s because I was so excited to see 90% savings, my camera hand wouldn’t stay steady. ;)
So I quickly moved through the shelves. Most items were not clearly marked with original prices because they have been moved from shelf to shelf over the last couple weeks. I had to scan a bunch of the items to confirm whether they were 75% or 90% off. This CVS (Butler Pike in Ambler, PA for local readers) had SO many of the Hallmark “North Pole” products which I LOVE but have a hard time paying retail prices for. I have specifically been looking for the North Pole Communicator and the other stores were sold out. Well I found one tonight – at a whopping 90% off BABY!! Lily has asked for this item several times and I think it will be a perfect surprise for her elf to bring next year.
Here is everything I picked up tonight:
