Candy Corn OREO Cookies
Moving right along with our festive Halloween-themed cookie treats… you will surely recognize today’s theme! They are OREO cookies that have been covered in melting chocolate and rolled in sprinkles so that they resemble an iconic fall treat: candy corn! Making these candy corn OREO cookies is pretty easy and they look so fun and colorful when they’re finished!
To make Candy Corn OREO Cookies you need:
OREO Cookies
White Chocolate Melts
Orange Chocolate Melts
Yellow Chocolate Melts
Candy Corn Colored Sprinkles
How to make candy corn OREO cookies:
1. I found that these are easiest to make if you work with one color of chocolate melts at a time. Start out by laying your OREO cookies on a sheet of wax paper.
2. Since actual candy corn colors are (top to bottom) white, orange, yellow, I started with the white chocolate melts. I melted them in the microwave, stirring the chocolate and heating in 30 second intervals. I spooned white chocolate over the top half of one side of each cookie.
3. Continue with the other colors. After white, I skipped the middle and coated the bottom half with yellow. Then I added orange to the middle.
4. After the chocolate had hardened, I piped some white melted chocolate around the cookie’s outer rim, then dipped that chocolate in the sprinkles.
