It’s the end of the year and if you’re like me, the crafty ideas are starting to wane. As much as I love pumping out an awesome DIY gift, this time of year is super tough. We are going non-stop. If it’s not dress rehearsal for dance recital, it’s a tech run-through for the acting recital. If it’s not field day at school, it’s a horse show on the weekend. The list goes on and on while I’m short on spare time on a good day, it’s all but obsolete come late-May/early-June.
This year I’m turning to Origami Owl for my teacher gifts. Many of you know that I have sold OO jewelry for almost 3 years. Their Core line of products are gorgeous, meaningful and heartfelt. (They also happen to be very reasonably priced!)
I will be using the following pieces:
“Renewal” Silver Teardrop Bangle Bracelet 8 1/4″ ($14) – Like a raindrop, this 8 1/4″ Silver Teardrop Bangle Bracelet symbolizes renewal. Wear it as a reminder that each day brings a new beginning, so leave past worries behind.
“The Art of Change” Silver Origami Butterfly Pendant ($10) – Trust in the journey of life and embrace the marvelous beauty you are destined to become. Add this pendant to your bracelet or necklace chain and show the world what you’re capable of.
I think the two of these pieces together are simply gorgeous. They are subtle but beautiful and full of meaning.
I whipped up this cute tag with a sweet teacher quote on it. You can print a free high res copy of this gift tag here.
Print your gift tag and have your child sign it.
Place the tag in a gift box (sold at Michael’s, etc) with the bracelet.
