Need a quick and easy Halloween treat or favor to hand out? This “bugs and kisses” idea, with our free printable bag toppers, are guaranteed to get some smiles!
Fun Halloween Treats
Halloween is SUCH a fun time of year for decorating, treat giving, and just general autumnal celebrating. It seems like everywhere I turn, there are harvest parties and events, bonfires, fall fests and other seasonally themed happenings on our calendar. Many of these events and parties are “potluck” type gatherings when guests are asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share with the crowd.
Bugs and Kisses Easy Halloween Treat
I have a really fun Halloween treat idea (and printable) for you!! This time of year you can pick up plastic spider rings (and other bug toys) at the dollar store. I found these spider rings at the Dollar Tree and paired them with iconic Hershey’s Kisses for a super easy (nut free!) Halloween treat idea that would work great for classroom parties or trick-or-treaters. I made up a cute “Bugs & Kisses” (get it?) printable tag that you can staple to each treat bag.
You could even skip the individual bags if you want and put a bunch of Hershey’s Kisses into a bowl. Sprinkle the spiders or other plastic bugs on top and use one of our bag toppers as a little sign in front of the bowl.
No matter how you set this one up, it’s sure to get some smiles! My kids think this party favor is HYSTERICAL and laugh every time we make them!

Materials needed for Bugs and Kisses Easy Halloween Treat:
How to make Bugs and Kisses favor bags:
1. Fill each clear treat bag with some Hershey’s Kisses and spiders.
2. Fold top of the treat bag down and staple. Fold each tag in half and staple one tag to the top of each bag. I recommend printing the tags on white card stock to make them a bit sturdier than regular printer paper.
