Best Books About THE MOON for Kids
The other day Landon and I wandered into the local bookstore looking for the July issue of Parents Magazine (that Yours Truly just happens to be featured in on Page 79! I was interviewed about our Little House on the Prairie Road Trip!!). ANYWAY. We went to the bookstore to look for the magazine. We took stroll into the kids’ book area and ran RIGHT SMACK INTO… the best display of books that a space-loving boy could ever hope to find!! Landon continues to soak up all possible NASA/astronauts/solar system information thanks to our day at Kennedy Space Center.
As we get ready to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11’s historic moon landing, I thought it would be fun to see how many great children’s books about the moon that I could round up! It turns out, there are a lot of great options.
Check out the suggestions below and grab your favorites, either from a bookstore or your local library.
