Halloween is almost here! Halloween is a great excuse to have some fun treating your neighbors to a little extra cheer. You can Boo Your Neighbors, friends and co-workers! It’s fun, it’s easy and it can be as cheap or as grandiose as you’d like. The “Boo Your Neighbors” game is also a fun way to drum up some positive community spirit!
Boo Your Neighbors and Friends / We’ve Been Booed
This activity is such a fun and easy way to celebrate the month of Halloween. Use our free printables to start off the fun in your neighborhood! If you’re a teacher, this is also a really fun game to play between the different classrooms in your school. I rounded up all of the supplies for our boo baskets at the dollar store. You can switch up the goodies that you buy based on the intended recipient. As you might guess, the basket shown in this example was given to a kid! I focused on fun little treats and Halloween themed items.
After you round up some fun things to put in a bucket, basket or bag, it’s time to put your gift together. This is similar to a Secret Santa activity that you might participate in for Christmas. You want to pick someone to gift your boo basket to, and attempt to deliver it without them seeing you! Half of the fun is trying to figure out who has booed you!

How to Boo Your Neighbors:
1. Print this Boo Your Neighbors free printable kit.
2. Round up some fun treats and put them in a basket or bucket.
3. Cut out and hang the “You’ve Been Booed” tag on your basket of goodies. Make sure you tuck the instruction/We’ve Been Booed sheet in the bucket.
4. Deliver your basket to the neighbor of your choosing (try not to be seen – guessing who has “Booed” you is part of the fun!).
Have fun watching the Halloween spirit spread across the neighborhood as people hang the “We’ve Been Booed” sign in their door or window after receiving some treats!
My kids have SO much fun doing this! We do not live in a neighborhood, so we try to sneak our boo baskets onto friends porches, teacher desks, etc. It’s always a lot of fun! Let us know if you try this and how it goes!
